This week Annelies Thoelen, SPIDER partner from Design Flanders presented the SPIDER project to the Interreg NWE Project Ideas Laboratory event in Birmingham. Sharing her experience of working within a transnational project she shared some of the project outputs as well as the challenges and impacts from SPIDER. Annelies has lead the development of the DIY manual that the partnership developed to help public service staff use service design methods within their innovation projects.
The event is intended to spark ideas and connections that will eventually result in new Interreg NWE projects and SPIDER was represented as a good example of transnational working to achieve concrete outcomes. If you’re interested in developing a project proposal for Interreg NWE and would like to speak to the SPIDER partners please get in touch by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
We are especially interested to hear from projects exploring service innovation within the public sector.
