The next talk in the series is is from, Estyn Jones, Insight and Innovation Manager at Cricket Wales. Cricket Wales is the national governing body for cricket in Wales. He’ll be talking about how he introduced a service design methodology into Cricket Wales to help them engage with ‘hard to reach’ groups.

The idea was to conduct user research to gain insight and understanding about why young people weren’t engaging with cricket. They conducted interviews, focus groups and asked players to keep video diaries. They were then able to share this data with the Cricket Wales Network and look at how they could tackle these problems and develop new ideas that might help keep more people playing cricket. He’ll also talk about the opportunities and challenges which presented themselves along the way and how they’re starting to embed the process within Cricket Wales and it’s staff.

After Estyn’s talk, a free lunch will be available to the attendees. Places are limited so unfortunately we can’t guarantee everyone a place.
